Maybe you dont understand the cosplay community def can get very racist. I've had friends deal with harsh shit cuz they cosplay and are black. It isnt racist if you dont like it but its def racist to make rude comments specifically because of the persons color as they cosplay
Not saying it can’t be rude. I’m just saying it comes from a place of “This doesn’t fit my understanding of the character” rather than, “White People are superior at cosplay” cuz that’s not an accurate representation of the issue. It’s just more palatable cuz rAcIsm bAD.
What your saying is from the point of view that hasn't experienced it but ALOT of black cosplayers get too much bs for being black and trying to cosplay no matter how professionally done it is. It is def racism circulating the cosplay scene many first hand accounts are horrid
You don’t have to experience something to understand it. A majority of it isn’t people that hate black people. That’s clearly a minority compared to the genuine reasoning not focused on demonizing intent.
