They got support from funimation and just about every major cosplayer and decided to focus on a little negativity. You can support people of different skin color cosplaying, but don’t deny the reality that it’ll look off. If people feel like calling it out that’s valid as well

Doesn’t make them racist for not liking a certain portrayal if said portrayal is objectively inaccurate
