They got support from funimation and just about every major cosplayer and decided to focus on a little negativity. You can support people of different skin color cosplaying, but don’t deny the reality that it’ll look off. If people feel like calling it out that’s valid as well

I'm not arguing about any of that, I'm just saying the notion of "people don't discriminate cosplays based on color" is wrong cause people easily do Whether someone learns to deal with it or not is up to them
The characters themselves discriminate by not being represented as multi-colored. There’s some that are white and some that are black. Not everything is for everyone or will look good on everyone. That’s just a harsh reality
