People who get mad at people for cosplaying a character that isn’t their race are some of the most annoying people
It can be annoying, but it’s not like it doesn’t always have merit. For instance, I thought it was weird as fuck that L was a black dude in Death Note, but then again the whole movie was trash.

I think that was fine because that wasn't "L", it was a different character who was supposed to serve as L in the narrative but he wasn't "Light Yagami"
