Well the thing is it’s usually an expectation that tournaments have noise cancelling headphones (atleast during shit like top 24) so it doesn’t really make sense when most have them. Atleast if they warned before about no headphones but I don’t believe they did.
You can’t always expect a venue to have your favorite or the most effective headphones. Part of being the best at something is always being prepared for very prominent issues like distractions. Leaving things up to chance seems like a rookie mistake.
yeah ik but i feel like the message he is conveying is more that TOs should do a better job managing their tourneys more then making excuses. He ends the twitlonger off saying how he'll handle future situations so I don't really feel like his goal is to make excuses.
