16yr olds shouldn’t be an activist for anything. They should be getting their homework done and enjoying their childhood. Anyone that becomes an activist at a young age has been taught to fear. Teaching fear to kids before they’re even adults is mental abuse/manipulation.

That's a bit of a stretch. In general, people should be able to fight for what they believe in IF they're knowledgeable and informed on the topic. The person I believe you're talking about is clearly knowledgeable and informed.

In fact, the idea that you would discourage 16 y/os from conversing is baseless and stupid, why would someone be unable to talk about a subject because of their age? Like I said, you should be able to talk about anything as long as you understand what you're talking about

No one said they can’t converse. You just shouldn’t make them leaders of campaigns. It’s wildly disingenuous and cowardly. Not to mention stressful on a developing teen. It’s a common political tactic to incite empathy. This isn’t new

I don't see how it would be stressful if you're asking for it? Like if I asked to take my math test on a certain date, I have no right to be mad or stressed about taking it since I got to choose the date. I agree with your other points though. Despite the agreement, I think (1/2)

the conversation shouldn't be "oh they're just using her as a way to be cowards, steer political propaganda, or encite empathy", but rather focusing on the content of what she says. If thats the case then she should be an ally instead of an empathy machine

Pollution bad. Save the world. Not much content there besides pushing the political agenda of the people propping her up. It’s not a genuine tactic

So why do we have to focus on the tactics?? Can't we just focus on a solution instead of how each side displays the matter at hand?

Because tactics matter? You can’t focus on a solution when one side’s tactic is division on policy. It literally distracts from the real issues

I agree and i'll rephrase what I said, tactics do matter but people shouldn't be jumping off of the main conversation JUST to talk about tactics. Also, i'm curious as to what you think the "real issues" are in this scenario

Economic repercussions of climate initiatives (which doesn’t just effect the rich, it’s trickle down economic policy), statistics on carbon emissions, innovation incentives for renewable energy and removing CO2 from the atmosphere, etc

Sorry not literally trickle down economics. Meaning the heavy tax rates are suffered by lower income families as well.

Yeah man I agree with that. I think the reason why stuff gets repeated and repeated is cause a lot of people dont understand that it exists and it's real. I 100000000% agree that the conversation should be more geared towards the economic repercussions. Good talk homie
