16yr olds shouldn’t be an activist for anything. They should be getting their homework done and enjoying their childhood. Anyone that becomes an activist at a young age has been taught to fear. Teaching fear to kids before they’re even adults is mental abuse/manipulation.

That's a bit of a stretch. In general, people should be able to fight for what they believe in IF they're knowledgeable and informed on the topic. The person I believe you're talking about is clearly knowledgeable and informed.

In fact, the idea that you would discourage 16 y/os from conversing is baseless and stupid, why would someone be unable to talk about a subject because of their age? Like I said, you should be able to talk about anything as long as you understand what you're talking about

No one said they can’t converse. You just shouldn’t make them leaders of campaigns. It’s wildly disingenuous and cowardly. Not to mention stressful on a developing teen. It’s a common political tactic to incite empathy. This isn’t new

I don't see how it would be stressful if you're asking for it? Like if I asked to take my math test on a certain date, I have no right to be mad or stressed about taking it since I got to choose the date. I agree with your other points though. Despite the agreement, I think (1/2)

the conversation shouldn't be "oh they're just using her as a way to be cowards, steer political propaganda, or encite empathy", but rather focusing on the content of what she says. If thats the case then she should be an ally instead of an empathy machine
