Part of the reason why it’s hard to learn Japanese in today’s culture is cuz everyone gives u shit for it. Not like learning Spanish or French, but it’s whatever. Dealt with that in high school. Just ignore it

I had to take Chinese before I took Japanese cuz my old high school didn’t even have it and I was self-studying beforehand. Hardest thing ever will be Kanji.
I just wanna learn it so i can play games that are never gonna localized outside of japan but damn learning another language is hard. Idk if it was cuz i had nothing else in my brain but i remember learning both english and spanish as a toddler was so easy.
Yeah it’s easier the younger you are, but not impossible! Repetition is the key to everything
Im studying hiragana right now! I'm rememorizing them all now because I had them all down 2 years ago! It helps if you try to read as much japanese as you can in your daily life; on the twitter timeline, on appliances, and packages(regardless of understanding!) It's dope!
