I was medically diagnosed with Asperger's. But Asperger's is honestly separate from autism but they consider it on the spectrum. Asperger's honestly just effects my conversational skills and emotions. I do agree that a lot of people self diagnose for ADD/ADHD. Some people do it

I agree. There is a lot of people that apparently have autism that I also know but if you just talk to them they seem normal, except for some traits that they just refuse to change. I feel like it is sort of a reason to make others feel sorry or something, Idk.
Of course there is people with actual autism but what even is the criteria for that? A mom bringing their 5 year old child to the doctor and then that guy says the child definitely has autism? lmao

I used to think I had adhd because I’m really bad at focusing and paying attention, but I never got diagnosed so I eventually just stopped thinking it. I still definitely have focusing issues and can’t sit still but It’s probably just a trait more than a mental condition.
Self diagnosers are essentially hypochondriacs in the sense that when they notice one mild thing off they will apply the most severe condition possible to themselves.
