People need to take a step back on policing speech in general. Context is being engineered rather than interpreted
“Just change your vocabulary. It’s not that hard, it literally hurts nobody to stop saying something” is the dumbest argument. You’re compelling decades of habitual speech patterns to change at the drop of a hat for sensibilities. Unless it’s a societal taboo, shut the fuck up.

It's almost like the English language doesnt use gender articles so we dont have any fundamentally neutral pronouns to refer singular people by so we have to get creative. I could talk for hours about why "he" is used neutrally
