Actually i care about none of that when deciding where i want to live. Military doesnt matter of the country is in zero conflict and can rely on other countries. Would you say detroit is better than bumblefuck, alabama because it has a bigger police force? No

Crime rates, tax rates versus what the government supplies from it, unemployment rate, average income, school system. All of these matter way more as a place to live than how big of a world power the country is

Socialized countries have far higher taxes, our unemployment is the lowest it’s ever been, crime rates are grossly skewed thanks to a select group of states and the school system is debatable. Not the best in every category, but certainly a very high average across the board.

Tax rate is also by state in america, so of we're talking the average tax rate per citizen, its definetly very close to that of a place like canada because most citizens live in cities where the tax rate is higher. Just because our unemployment is low for us doesnt mean
