Your statement makes the assumption that the community at large had no impact whatsoever in the actions of Etika. This man lived on the Internet. He was an entertainer. For you to say that seems far more misinformed than Mat going out of his way to make a full presentation.

Yeah. Lots of people considered his struggle as a joke and treated him like a joke during his outbursts and in turn, flipped his own actions against him for supposed manipulative and cruel actions. But I guess you could fit all of that into one pic on a Twitter post.

To make a sweeping generalization of what Mat is doing like that with such limited knowledge, isn’t doing a service to anyone. Imagine if the next slide he’s talking about everything you just said. You would’ve proved the tainting effect cancel culture can have, without knowing.
