Arguably perpetuating an ideology that can’t be properly substantiated causes social harms to people that can’t conform via mob mentality. It’s not founded in science, so I think it’s fair if some people think it’s suspect.

I doubt it would be something sonicfox does just for attention Yeah, of course, people no doubt exist that do it for attention, but he's sonicfox, he can just say whatever and he has all the attention in the fgc I genuinely think he's just doing it to be more comfy and open

He was kinda milking attention from YouTube and Republicans after receiving an award for being the best so I wouldn’t put it past him entirely. Especially the #ImGay fiasco started between two gay people.

I dont think that was him doing it for attention either Whether it was annoying or not, I think those are all his genuine ideals and doesnt come off as someone who's doing it for attention Hell, I do a similar thing with my friend group where I go "I'm gay" cause it's funny to us

He explicitly stated he did it cuz it pissed people off then justified it later by quote rt’ing a couple people that said he made them feel more comfortable.

I don't think that statement makes what he said disingenuous I can say a statement I genuinely believe in to piss people off And yeah, it makes people more comfortable, which is also something that can happen as a result of being genuine

If you’re being an asshole under the guise of advocacy then you’re knowingly creating a me vs them scenario in which more hate is being produced. It may not be disingenuous, but it sure as hell is stupid if u want to be accepted.
