Acknowledging there is a problem is how u fix it. If you demonize people for addressing our own problems, you end up with everyone just hating white cops, people and the government. That’s not solving anything

I agree dod it seem like I'm disagreeing with this statement? All I was mainly trying to say was it's best to get all the facts out there not just the single black on black crime stat and not discuss why it's actually so high

I cited cop violence demographics. I know why our community is so shitty, but the only ones that can fix it is us which is why we have to unify around the cause and not the result. I don’t like seeing our own communities tear each other down or waste time with non-issues.

I think from the original post it's kinda separate in general but cops are out of hand period lately not just white cops shooting black kids. Did you ever see that one cop documentary on hulu where cops talk about some ficked shit.

Nah I haven’t, but you gotta remember I was raised by a cop. My perspective isn’t far removed from compassion. I know the sacrifices made and lives of good cops lost too. I’m not saying there can’t be bad people in a profession, but some people just want to help.

My dads best friend is a cop we all hung out frequently hes one of the good ones and because of that actually had to change precincts or w/e. He did the right thing and got black listed for it. They make it extremly hard just to be a decent human being and be a officer

Fair enough. Don’t police jurisdictions fall in state lines tho? That’d put strain on local communities for investigation I’d assume

Most of the time they are set to investigate themselves.... just like when a officer does something extremly suspect and is taken to court they are somehow allowed to just investigate themselves it's a fucked system
