I prefer the call out. Stroder even said he knew it was making people uncomfortable. If you’re brave enough to say something that fucked up there should be consequences. Otherwise, everyone will just keep doing it.

I agree with when you say the word you better prepare for the backlash no matter what context it is. But I think you are equally as bad as someone saying ignorant shit if you just skip the conversation with them and go for the call out. That’s the amazing cycle of cancel culture.

Hm. I look at a call out and a cancel as two different things. A call out can lead to a cancel but it doesn’t have to. Anyone trying to cancel Bocchi/Stroder are clowns but in my opinion I see the call out as the consequence that equals the gravity of what was said.

But what instigated the broccoli(auto correct but fuck it keeping it LMAO) situation wasn’t a call out, it was mostly from what I know Ryuga going “LMAOO RACIST GET OUTTA HERE” from what I saw. I might be wrong tho.

My argument is from an opposition to authority on what is and isn’t acceptable to say. Getting on people for venting when they’re constantly restricted socially based on certain phrases seems like a little reach. Especially towards kids who deal with that at school and home.

No one likes being told what they can and can’t say and what they do or don’t mean when it’s said. Also why I’ll never apologize.

Yeah I agree with you 100, if you just censor stuff people are gonna try to break those barriers no matter what. But for me I just take a sit back and if someone says it’s to much I’ll listen since I don’t really want a word to start some shit when I’m chilling.

Understandable, but Bocchi was literally chillin and Excal or someone else screened it and sent it to Ryuga. There was no reason to make that public unless they had a motive
