The SSB Code of Conduct panel should be contained to policing only the melee community and melee events, since the panel is entirely made up of Melee community members. Just an opinion.

We started out in Melee; Ult TOs & players have joined Ult & Melee have the same problems: no one enforces a baseline standard of behavior (TOs can & have been bad abt handling misconduct). Genuinely, how are these communities diff enough to have 2 separate standards of behavior?

If a player fixes a match in either game... a ban is warranted. If a player sexually assaults someone... a ban is warranted. Both games are the Smash community & most of our signatories run both games.

Why isn’t the list updated? Bc when director powers moved from Roboticphish to me I lost the ability to update it. We have 1 or 2 ppl who are working on a website so all info is centralized, but it’s all volunteer, so, delays.

Why does region matter? We’re holding everyone to an objective standard of behavior. In fact, having panelists from a person’s region tends to lead to bias (they have been friends w the person & can’t objectively evaluate evidence); & whatever TO IS affected can make statements.
