Yeah. Fuck that MJG guy and FOW! We gotta protect those potential victims as much as possible! Don’t probe for the truth or be critical. It’s been statistically shown that 100% of accusers don’t lie. https://twitter.com/PG_ESAM/status/1147548174359453696 …

Is this really your take on victims being harassed? "Some people lied about being victims, therefore all victims deserve harassment"? Dude. FOW! and MJG are victims of false victims. That has NOTHING to do with Vikki, Tamim, Zack, or others. Check yourself.

If being “harassed” is asking for how they aren’t lying, then yes. If something is serious you don’t just take it at face value unless you’re gullible and let others think for u.

Did ESAM say anything about that? Cause that's not how read it at all. All I read was "When people come out regarding victims they get harassed and we should minimize that". Pardon me for taking your response as nonsensical when it has NOTHING to do with what he said.

“Basically any women coming forward about assault” Coupled with Esam saying verbatim in the past, “believe all victims.” Those have NOTHING to do with his message tho as you conveniently put. So thank you for replying.

Yes, "basically all women coming out about abuse" get harassed for it. That's all he said. Whether or not they might be lying, they absolutely should not get harassed for coming out about abuse. I'm not sure why that's a hot take.

They consider harassment as a line of questioning. So unless that’s agreed upon, there’s a fundamental misunderstanding in your interpretation. “Victim blaming” is a common blanket term for that as well.

Coming in with a tone implying skeptical interrogation instead of measured understanding on a vulnerable topic can be seen as harassment if you continue pushing beyond the point of what is comfortable, yes. It has a lot to do with tone. Victim blaming is something else entirely.

I know what “victim blaming” is and I’m saying this gets thrown out as a buzzword. But if we’re going to argue semantics on tone when we both agree on the premise alone, I think that’s a waste of time.

Yeah. I think our point of contention is that I think quite a few people are a bit narrow minded or unaware of how seemingly innocent questions can be seen as harassment in trying times, and that I believe you grossly misinterpreted ESAM's tweet. Beyond that we seem to agree.

I made the conclusion based on this and his previous pandering statements on the subject. It’s very clear what he meant by it to me especially when I saw how he treated BOTH FOW and MJG who were both innocent. His methods are harmful
