If you knowingly bring your family into a situation knowing that there’s legal avenues, then yes. The fully grown adults should have some responsibility in their actions. I wouldn’t assume that all of those people are ignorant to how it works. A dire situation = panic response

There’s legal immigrants that don’t like this shit either because rules were meant to be followed. Without borders countries would have influxes of homelessness, tax evasion, terrorism and crime. Screening to make sure people are good and capable of making a living is important.

Yea im not saying they shouldnt accept responsibility, im just saying their punishment shouldnt look like this, and ive literally heard people who say inhumane conditions are fine to be the punishment for coming in illegally. Which i thought was the whole "if youre ok with this"

If people de stigmatized funding the borders then they’d actually have money to provide adequate aid. But people like Esam say, “ICE bad!”, they get little funding and then people are mad when they can’t handle over crowding.

Fair enough, i mean i never thought the idea of ice wS bad, just needs better policies, and better structures to hold people, and probably some kinda video security system that WILL hold guards accountable for all actions
