I’m saying it shouldn’t only be looked at through the prism of “pure” racism. This is so ridiculous that I don’t see how it couldn’t be a joke. That’s the point. It’s fine to be upset, but that’s the reason this is a joke. It’s like yelling, “HEY THIS IS BAIT!” and it still works

The problem here, for me is I'm an anime fan A darkskinned character WITHOUT their face being mainly lips and hair that isnt generic doesnt happened often. I'm glad she's in. I suspected the internet would fuck it up and now someone has gotten praised for drawing her as a chimp.
