The problem isnt even that imo, artists can do what they want with what they draw. They can genderbend, race bend, turn furry. Idc if they make her an albino futa furry fucking misty. People need to get that people draw what they like, and changing the race of a character doesnt

I hate the idea that random fictional characters are supposed to somehow represent their group as a whole. It’s complete collectivism. I wouldn’t want people treating a random fictional white character as a representative for me.

I've always hated this type of thought. Even I do it to an extent when looking back on my friend groups due. I want diversity in opinions and backgrounds in my friend groups and I'm glad I have that. Even in games as fictional media that's what I want. Make them interesting.
