It’s funny how Pokémon essentially created the world and rule over life & death, but they’re subservient to humans. Always thought that was weird.

Tbh thats just the disconnect between gameplay and story. In lore its always something like the legendaries respect the trainer that managed to battle it.
I know it’s just weird. Like, imagine if our world had the existence of our established god, yet we lived in forests and fought/lived for monkeys 
. Through evolution they should be the superior life form.
