No because if you are claiming to protect the truth then you cannot also present testimony and heresay as the truth and then dismiss your errors as semantics.

If the action is correct then the location has secondary relevancy to me.

It shouldn’t because a local is a place that is directly related to the scene and can be adjudicated by TOs, venue ownership, etc. This did not happen there; therefore, its relevancy towards tournament conduct is lessened.

If a physical altercation happens outside of the scene with players from the community it is just as valid. Hyuga and Vikkikitty was treated with no less attention from Smash as a whole just cuz it was in a hotel.

That’s not what I was addressing. I was merely stating that you intend to champion the truth, so you can’t just state incorrect information (ie the location of the incident) and then dismiss it. This isn’t about the ramifications of the incident itself but how you approach it.

The ends justify the means. If what I said didn’t even happen, I’d be shocked and correct myself. The change in location is such a minimal slip that it hardly affected my point, which is why I disregarded it. I apologize for my hasty wording being incorrect.

Thanks. That’s all I was looking for. I appreciate the intent to defend the truth and not the subsequent opinions formed, so I got a lil peeved when you just dismissed my attempt to provide a slight correction.
