@DeeNimmin @NickNimmin quick question for you, is there a way to have a custom thumbnail when setting up a live stream via Custom settings on YouTube instead of it being your header of your YouTube page? Hopefully that makes sense.

According to
@ZAKtalksTECH you would need to change the channel banner to whatever pic you want to use.....1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Yea but I don't want the banner to be what I use for my live streams because it really doesn't flow with what's going on in the channel. One thing that annoys me if you can't change that.

I agree. It’s quite annoying that there seems to be no other way to change it......

Yeah that's something that seems too easy to change. Come on

Can confirm. If you're doing a Hangouts then it'll default to your channel banner. Otherwise a regular scheduled live stream can use any thumbnail you want.

@TechnicallyTee You get the thumb thing sorted?1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes
Yeah I did. It was what I expected just making sure I wasn’t missing something. Youtube needs to get on that and let us use custom thumbnails for whichever setting we use for live streaming.
