Also, this hurts channels that don't have a queue of videos that can uploaded days or weeks in advanced. And what about when something is very time sensitive? The robot is taking too long, how about a button to ask for manual review of an entire channel to be whitelisted? Hmmmm?

Thanks for appealing, the system needs millions of human-reviewed data points to improve. The machine is learning every day. For future videos please upload as unlisted & request a review. You will get an email update of the outcome.

This was uploaded as private... it was green when uploaded, green when private, green when published, it stayed green for nearly 24 hours before turning yellow... The uploading for review doesn't work.

Upload as unlisted and request a review? That's The best answer
@TeamYouTube can come up with? For people who have time-sensitive content, like everyone who covered#CES, that isn't really the best option. -
Yea, but it doesn't work... I never publish yellow videos, they are all green when private, green when published, and usually green for 12 to 24 hours before turning yellow...

To add insult to injury, now if you have under 1000 subs and less than 4000 hours of watch time in the last year, your monetization goes away.

" Not suitable for most advertisers " Is
@TeamYouTube serious? That video was the best video on meltdown & Spectre. It was very informative and well explained. So what IS suitable for advertisers? Gloom & doom videos? This is wrong on all levels. - 2 more replies
