Sick of @TeamYouTube taking views off my videos for NO REASON. Jeez my video was tweeted out by another creator with over 4 million subs so I was always going to get good view number. STOP HOLDING ME BACK! We have put up with your shit for too long now.pic.twitter.com/SUb5RR1rMx

To verify that views are real and accurate, YouTube may temporarily slow down, freeze, or adjust the view count, as well as discard low-quality playbacks. Explained in detail here: https://goo.gl/fCxaJw

Hi, team youtube! I think it would be super convenient if whenever a view count drop happens because of this reason, you were able to click on a little question mark by the view count and see this explanation right next to the view count whenever this process takes effect.

Also include options to disable or enable this kind of notification, in many places that change our numbers, so that creators can see exactly where all their numbers are coming from, including from viewership and algorithms taking effect. We would really appreciate communication!

That's a really interesting suggestion! Definitely send it via the feedback tool and we'll also pass it along.
