(2/2) @TeamYouTube , ...and gets put into the lowest quality. This is definitely not a problem on my end, for I have restarted my router already, as well as reinstalled the YouTube app on my device. This problem has been going on since last night.
Thanks for the additional info. Try deleting the app, restarting your device, and reinstalling the app. That should clear things up for you.

(1/2) I did in fact try that, and unfortunately, that didn’t fix my problem. As I’ve said before, this isn’t an issue on my end. I even contacted my ISP, and even they claim that the problem isn’t on my end.

(2/2) Websites such as DownDector and http://Outage.Report (who provide downage maps based on reports about specific sites/services being down) even show that multiple states within the US, and even parts of Europe are being effected. Please look into this.
