I genuinely don’t understand why @YouTube thinks it’s ok to not notify subscribers when the YouTube channel they SUBSCRIBED TOO uploads. When you SUBSCRIBE you ask to be NOTIFIED. This is common sense. When you subscribe to a subscription box or magazine, you’re choosing this!

This is soooo important for subscribers to know! Without knowing about this change, they won’t see if their favorite channel uploads.
-
Agreed! This isn't a recent change btw, but there's definitely more we can do to raise awareness about the different options. Appreciate you highlighting!

How about instead of going 100% the other direction it should be when you subscribe you see all uploads. If you click the bell you can set it to only occasionally see uploads, ect. That would make WAY more sense
-
Just to clarify, the bell is only for *notifications* – all new video uploads show up in the subs feed, no matter the notification settings.

Why not provide them that choice when they click subscribe. No notification, all notification, or some notification. Seems like a simple solution.

HI, why is it an OPTION to select all? Why in the world is that not the default? If you don’t want to see all the videos, THEN you should be able to take action or... stay with me, this is a tough concept... don’t watch the videos that you don’t want to see

Hmm, can you file a feedback report with these steps: https://goo.gl/hx7ASp ? We will look into it!
