@YTCreators 1,100 of my hard-earned views were taken away. I want them back on my video Every House Flipping Show Ever. They were quality, documented views. You did this to another one of my videos and later reinstated my views. Please stop taking views away from my channel
Frozen & shifting view counts are a regular part of our view validation process. More info here: https://goo.gl/WpM23C

I'm familiar with the article and other forums, but it's still not addressing my issue. My detailed emails are being seemingly ignored. The linked article is vague at best and offers no transparency or real explanation, it only validates that adjusting view counts happens. (pt 1)

My channel's already been demonetized, so adjusting my views for a "positive experience for content creators, advertisers and users" seems bogus because my channel's already too small for advertisers and I'm not having a positive experience and do other users even care? (pt 2)

There's a very "man behind the curtain" aspect of this view count algorithm. There's a lot of broad terminology and timetables referenced, but I know based on where I'm posting to get my videos out there, I know my viewers are human and not computer programs. (pt 3)

I keep losing views. All I'm asking is for transparency and an explanation. I don't know what's more obscure and indiscriminate, the NFL not explaining what a catch is or Youtube not explaining what a view is. (pt 4)

Send creators a "views lost" report or something of the sort that explains why views were taken away. For example. 1,140 views lost: 400 views from spam bots, 300 views not deemed long enough, 150 views from fake accounts, 290 repeat views. Just something that explains it (pt 5)

If views aren't "long enough," I'd still rather have those views counted in the view count and reflected in my analytics. I'd rather have it affect my "average view time" so I can properly apply those analytics to making my next videos. (pt 6)

For example, I'll have catchier openings/hooks to get attention knowing people click, watch a couple seconds and then leave. Will my average view time plummet? Yeah, probably. But that's actually a useful analytic. Disappearing views is not. (pt 7)

And you can't claim "for the advertiser's benefit" because my channel was deemed too small for monetization, so there really is no "winner" in this instance of disappearing views. And every time I write to Youtube, more views disappear. I am netting a negative watch time! (pt 8)
