@TeamYouTube will I get strikes against my account for posting original video edits of cartoons/movies/gifs that I myself put together? I’m no trying to monetize since that right was taken from me 5 days ago. I just want to share my videos without my account being shutdown

Doesn’t clarify my specific question. If I upload a video, say like a spongebob edit. And the video gets copyright claimed although I didn’t monetize, will that be a strike? If the owner allows it to be used after the fact does it strike my account also?

Is there some sort of live chat YouTube offers for actual specific answers? Or do they just push everyone to a list of pre written rules that aren’t specific enough to answer most questions?

In most cases, you’ll need to seek the copyright owner’s permission to include their copyrighted material in your video. Though, it's possible to use copyright-protected work without infringing the owner’s copyright. For the second part, see "fair use": https://goo.gl/ZmzJ77
