@TeamYouTube I understand you tightened the rules to make money, but most smaller channels don't want to advertise much. We just need to grow. I'm not impressed by this move since all my channels will now be demonetised. The move is fine in 1 respect but crippling my feeling...
Monetization doesn't impact how videos appear in search or how they're promoted/recommended. Smaller channels can still benefit from resources like our Help Center/Creator Academy & creator features-tools like custom thumbnails etc.
Except you don't promote smaller channels, you only post videos from people like PewdiePie and NBC on the front page.
