What sucks about being kicked out of the #YouTubePartnerProgram isn't the money—I got a video demonetized the other day for talking about my eating disorder. I get demonetized for talking about being gay. What sucks is the principle of it, and losing access to features. @YouTube

Questions: 1) End screens & cards are available only if the creator is "currently" a partner, implying that newbies won't have access to these features? Without annotations or end screens, small channels won't be able to have anything clickable. This is a problem.pic.twitter.com/NQbb3VSQFI

2) The thresholds of subscribers and watch time don't match up.
@ItsRadishTime BARELY met the requirement, and she has 10k subs, weekly videos, and 1000-2000 views per video. A channel with 1000 subs isn't going to meet that 4000 hour requirement. I have 2000 subs and I didn't. - 1 more reply
