And how is this going to help keep quality on your site from the large channels that are the ones causing you all the grief? Genuinely wondering
This update has been in the works for awhile w/ the goal of preventing bad content (like spammers, impersonators, etc) from monetizing. While it will impact some good channels, we believe it's the best compromise to protect our community.

Ok. Does that then give you more hands/eyes/time to moderate large channels and reports? Most of the channels begetting the uproar and controversy way outstrip these new guidelines.
