The new #YouTube Partner Program policy only further hurts smaller channels instead of helping them grow. A channel I have had monetized for years with over 600 subs and almost 400k views is now no longer eligible thanks to the change. @YouTube @YTCreators

I understand we can still upload, use some features, etc, but this is still harmful to small channels. I did not make much, but it still helped to make something compared to zero when my editing software alone costs money. It is also mentally discouraging.

It is not even about the money at this point as much as my pride in what I made so far has lessened as well as my trust in you when you associate small channels with community issues
