As per the new eligibility requirements a channel will need 4k watch hours (240,000 mins) in the past 12 months and 1k subscribers. If you don’t meet the new threshold, you’ll have until Feb 20 before your channel is removed.

What happens to the money I have earned since I will not be able to reach the threshold without monetizing?

Also, why are channels that are older than X amount of years and have always been in good standing excluded from this? I have had this channel for over 4 years and never received a strike or "crazy videos".
