Smaller channels can still grow and be discovered–monetization doesn't impact how videos appear in search or how they're promoted/recommended across YouTube. Also creator features and tools like cards and end screens, custom thumbnails, live streaming, etc are all still available

It seems like Discovery and loss of features are important to a lot of people. It’s one thing to lose out on money but, no one wants to make things people won’t be able to actually find and see

Youtube is saying one thing and doing something completely polar opposite. You guys aren't being fair to smaller streamers at all. On top of literally notifying no one when me and other streamers my size stream, here you go and drive our discoverability down.

Outrageous.A miracle is needed. 4000 Hours of watch time when I make really short 5 min long educational videos? Impossible for a small time creator like myself. YouTube is for big RICH corporations only now. A betrayal of your USP. Shame.

My channel has over 1million views, 1039 videos but only 3100 watch hours in the last 12 months. To you I'm not suitable and I can't post 900 hours worth of videos in 28 days. This is appalling and really taking the mickey.
