@YTCreators please stick up for small creators and ask/demand that YouTube rethink the new rule. Change is necessary but it should be quality based not quantity based.
Hey Lori, we understand this can be disappointing but updates as these help protect our community. Moving forward, we want to use a bundle of signals that better help us understand the quality of a channel.

1. I am not disappointed I am truly trying to understand the logic. How is silencing and crushing the dreams of small creators (who you still profit from) helping to weed out bad players like the Logan kid - who you also profited from?

2. How is silencing the voices of LGBTQA folks helping? How is this promoting open discourse? If quality is your concern why not help promote small creators in a positive manner and if/when you chose to profit off of them give them fair warning - not 30 days.

3. BTW I do not have a Youtube channel - rather I am a consumer - explain how you are defining quality - is it making fun of other cultures? genders? Or rather should it be students helping other students and people sharing important and painful truths.

4. I am all for companies making profit. I am against them changing the rules mid-stream and saying they care about quality while still permitting vile videos - as long as the company profits.
