That is not the way the YouTube creators Blog article reads?? Can you clarify? Because people are receiving emails also that say they are going to lose their monetization if they don’t meet the new requirements.

If you’re currently part of YPP but don’t meet the new threshold, you’ll have until Feb 20 to meet the required limit. Hope this helps clarify!

BS! read the email
@TeamYouTube I got same one and it states if your channel doesn’t have 1000 subs / 4000 hours watch time they are removing monetisation and no longer eligible.

If it's for pending applications, then why did I receive an email stating that I've been terminated from YPP? I have over 1,000 subs but less than 4,000 hours in WT

Thats possibly the worst clarification spot of all time, considering the mails about this all announce partnership termination for *existing* partners that have monetization now but are not meeting thresholds. Either honor existing partners or dont communicate nonsense.

@TeamYouTube Can you clarify? You state above its only for new/pending but the emails states I will lose it in 30 days. Which is it?Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

That contradicts what that email states. So I am already monetized, but will not meet the new requirements. Will I be demonetized or keep my status?

So if a channel has less then 1k subs but has monetization? loses that or do we keep it? your wording is not clear!
