So even though my channel has 35k and partnered for ten years, the 200 videos I made lose their status because they’re old?

Do you have to pass 4,000 hours every year or just one time?

That is a really steep climb for a small creator doing things on multiple platforms. I have two old channels that are partnered but can’t be monetized as of April 2017. No strikes ever. It will force me to push content to other sources. Why not just creating a better flag system.

You're kinda ruining Yt, it used be this fun creative way of making money and now small channels like mine aren't gonna do so well. This is all because you want money? You've already driven people away by trying to make the platform kid friendly so why don't you just stop?

This basicly forces creators to make LONGER videos and publish very often to maintain that threshold of 4k hours a year. Thank you for screwing the little man

When does that 12 month clock start ticking? At the start of a calendar year? every day? If I hit 4000 hours does the clock reset until I get another 4000 hours?
