Hey @YouTube how come your copyright flagging system is finding uncopyrighted music? Pretty soon our only option for background sounds are going to consist of remixes of hitting a coffee table with a fork and dropping a spoon in a garbage disposal... until those get flagged too..
Claims can come from publishers who represent the writers of a song as well. Because there’s a set of copyrights to protect the work of these writers (i.e. the lyrics/melody of the song) you may receive a claim if you sing or hum the melody/lyrics: https://yt.be/help/claims-FAQ

How about dumbasses who copyright a free beat? A lot of shitty "rappers" have been stealing free to use songs and publishing it as their own, meaning anyone who uses the original free song gets a strike. Doesn't seem fair to the original creator or to those using the og song.

I literally got the song that's been claimed from creative commons which for clarification provides music that should be copyright free for the explicit purpose of YouTube videos and remixes
