Can anyone tell me if LatinAutor (brazilian company) is even a legit company? My One Punch Man covers had ONE strike a while ago by Lantis (the company that licenses and OWNS the music) and was quickly retracted because they noticed it was a cover and not the original, but (1)

(2) now I'm getting strikes from this company saying ad revenue should be shared with them, and that REALLY seems shady to me given that they don't even own the rights to the original tracks, let alone my covers

You'll get a copyright strike if your video has been taken down bc the owner sent us a request. You can resolve it by–waiting for it to expire, get a retraction, or submit a counter notification, deleting a video with a strike won’t resolve the strike: https://yt.be/help/fhTF .

My problem isn't getting a copyright strike, I'm asking if YT can view whether a company is legit or not. In my case, the company that owns the original is called Lantis Company, and not LatinAutor, in which case this would mean LatinAutor is abusing the copyright system
