@TeamYouTube my channel recently achieved 1,000 subscribers and was automatically enrolled in the YT Partner Program. I want to deliver my content ad free to my subscribers, but even though I left the YT Partner Program there are still ads prior to my videos. What should I do?
There's no way to cancel or withdraw your application, but if you're accepted into YPP, you can always choose to leave the program: https://yt.be/help/7A4p . To turn off ads for any videos you've already uploaded, just go to the Video Manager and adjust the Monetization settings.

Thanks for the response. I’ve already followed the instructions on the page you linked to leave YPP. I made that setting switch a couple of days ago, but I still have ads (the ones you can’t disable once automatically enrolled in YPP). How can I opt out completely?

Appreciate the update – please allow a couple of days for the changes to take effect on your channel. Also, make sure that you also followed the steps for turning off ads on videos outlined here: https://yt.be/help/MWH8 Hope this helps.
