1/2 @TeamYouTube, i just created my channel like a week ago and after uploading the very first video, my subscribe button has dissapeared. Not 'dissapeared' exactly, but it is unusable. If you visit my channel (using a PC browser or mobile device) the button is simply not there.

However, if you click on my video, the button shows up but either gives you an error saying “Unknown error” (on mobile), or tells me I’m subscribed, but then immediately after a page refresh unsubscribes me. The link to my account:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt51N0hLXy1TJZuPCVnptvw …

That's weird. Is this happening across devices? Make sure the app/browser is up to date and try clearing the cache and cookies: https://yt.be/help/Cko1 . That usually does the trick. Let us know if that helps.

No, it's not a client thing. I live in Serbia and I found out about this from a Swedish friend who told me she couldn't subscribe because the button was missing.

Have you tried using a different mobile device or computer? Also, make sure that you have a stable internet connection. Let us know if it helps!

The issue is fixed now, the button is back and working, but for some reason it cost me my sub count. For some reason, after the button came back, I was down to 4 subscribers from the previous 11.

Appreciate the info – it's normal to see fluctuations in your sub count. In addition to user normally subscribing and unsubscribing, YouTube adjusts subscriber counts around the clock to remove any inactive or illegitimate subscriptions. More info here: https://yt.be/help/DTfU
