To our creators & users–I’m sorry for the frustration & hurt that we caused with our new approach to verification. While trying to make improvements, we missed the mark. As I write this, we're working to address your concerns & we’ll have more updates soon.

You need 100k subs to apply for verification. Starting in late Oct, we’ll review applications to verify that your channel is authentic (you are you who say you are) and complete (your channel is public, has necessary info/content, & is active on YouTube): http://yt.be/help/3Htg

does it gonna change monetization if not be verified?

No, it does not – as long as your channel is eligible and reviewed + approved for the YouTube Partner Program, you can start monetizing on YouTube,. Here’s how to get started with the application process: https://yt.be/help/PHae
