Thank you for making a statement about the issue. I'm hoping to hear that established creators will be able to keep their verification to prevent impersonation & whatnot. I'd honestly like to see the change reverted and maybe an additional feature implemented for w/e the prob is

Precisely! Impersonation is already enough of a problem without making it even easier for people to defame and commit fraud as some of our favorite channels. Running fake charity donations, merch and crap... The verification badge might not be the end-all but it damn sure helps!
