Which is utterly pointless when the issue is replica channels, using replica, like, or otherwise similar channel names that are designed to be misleading. Which is precisely why the verification system was needed. To ensure channels themselves were authentic and genuine.

I've had my channel cloned multiple times, even had one guy create a twitch channel that looked like my YT channel to try to steal my viewers. Doing this doesn't solve that problem. Idiotic move my YT
