1. We will treat data from anyone watching children’s content on http://YouTube.com as coming from a child, regardless of the age of the user. This means we will only collect the data needed to support the operation of the service.

We know a lot of parents and kids watch YouTube together, but for kids watching alone, we recommend using the YouTube Kids app. It’s been available since 2015, and we’re continuing to invest in it with more parental controls and a higher bar for qualifying channels.

I have a question YouTube why are you disabling people's comments section my mom wanted to comment under my video and she can't now because y'all say the comments are inappropriate it's not my fault that kids watching my stuff when their parents tell them don't it

Thanks for the video. Earlier this year, we took actions above our normal protections for children on YouTube by disabling comments on videos that could be at risk of predatory behavior as we work to improve the tools that catch violative comments. More: https://yt.be/help/JBTx
