there's this ugly white line at the bottom that doesn't go away, you can't hover over the video without it graying it, you can't just click on the video to play it, you have to click the play button in the middle, the play button in the lower left corner can't be clicked, (1/2)

Mind sending us a screenshot so we can check? Also, if you're on mobile, try updating the app to its latest version. If you're on desktop computer, try to clear the cache & cookies of your browser and see if that helps. Keep us posted.

there seems to have been a change in how the video is shown? at least for some videos 1. bar at bottom doesn't go away 2. whenever you hover over the video this happens, and you can no longer click anywhere on the video to pause/play 3. can't go full screen, this doesn't go awaypic.twitter.com/q7D6w4ZY2x

How are you watching the videos – on your phone or PC? If it's on a PC browser, you can try clearing your browser's cookies. More on that here: https://yt.be/help/BCh3 . If you're using the app, here are troubleshooting steps that usually do the trick: https://yt.be/help/tg8k .

This happens to me on desktop too, after a couple videos. It goes away either by refreshing or completely exiting YouTube and coming back. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Thanks for reporting too – have you tried any troubleshooting steps? If you haven't already, start with clearing your cache and cookies. Updating your browser usually helps too. Let us know if that doesn't work!
