@TeamYouTube many videos on the site don't show a publish date, is this intended?
To confirm, is this happening across your devices? Try logging out and logging back in on the app, and make sure you have the updated version of it. You can check once more, then let us know how it goes!

it's across all of my devices even with latest version; while you're looking into this, would you consider removing the abbreviated sub count feature? seeing each individual subscriber inching towards a major goal is a huge hype moment that brings traffic and money to the site

We’re abbreviating public sub counts both to maintain consistency across all public surfaces on YouTube, and to address creator concerns about stress/wellbeing, specifically around tracking public sub counts in real time. More on this: http://yt.be/help/abbrev-count …

same thing happened here it usually never showed up in that spot before, the date always popped up under the channels name when published not next the views .pic.twitter.com/UDhGbGGuxX

Does it show in just 1 video or others videos as well? If you haven't already, try doing the other basic troubleshooting steps & let us know if it works: https://yt.be/help/sWdH . Thanks!

This is happening to me as well; across all devices.

Thanks for reaching out – have you tried logging out and then logging back in? You can also reinstall the app to ensure that you have the most updated version. Doing these steps usually does the trick.
