1/2: I do not target my videos specifically at children, but covering video games means a large part of my audience is young. I make content with a goal that it can be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in the topic, I don't factor age into it.

Exactly. I would absolutely love clarification on this exact thing. We will be expected to classify our own content, but with no guidelines, it’s extremely subjective and vague.

It's determined on a video-by-video basis, here are some examples & more info: https://yt.be/help/pE5Q . Creators know their content best, and will be required to self-designate when their content is intended for a kids audience. We’ll have more resources in the coming months too.
