(1/5) If you’re a creator of children’s or family content, you’re probably wondering what the changes we announced today mean for you and your channel. More details here https://yt.be/Bnqp , but keep reading this thread for a quick summary:

There is content intended for "kids," but there is content that is "family friendly" but directed to a wide audience, including, but not exclusive for, younger audiences. We are worried that the latter will be bunched with the former and "tossed out with the bath water."

Again, you know your content best – if your content isn't made for kids, no action needed. Definitely check out the specifics/examples here: https://yt.be/help/pE5Q and we’ll share more resources + content strategy guides over the coming months too.
